Abbey School Parents' Association - ASPA
The Abbey School Parents' Association, ASPA, is a vibrant and important part of the school community.
We totally rely on help from Parents to organise a number of events throughout the school year and we raise funds for the school. Our prime purpose is to support and further enhance both formal and informal education of the Abbey School pupils by:
- Providing (and helping with the provision of) facilities for the girls' education
Initiating and supporting activity that enhances the education and careers of the pupils - Developing closer relationships between the staff, the parents and others associated with the School to ensure that current pupils have the best possible outcome for them.
- Ensuring a structured liaison between parents and the School Governors to ensure that parents' views are known and acknowledged.
All money raised by the Parents' Association is given to the school in the form of gifts, donations or prizes for excellence.
