We had an amazing week of sunshine and showers on the Lower III (Year 6) Residential Trip to Bude this year. We left Reading on a very rainy Monday morning to find Widemouth Bay bathed in glorious sunshine. That evening we enjoyed a marvellous coastal walk where we soaked up the scenery. The next day, the adventures began as each group enjoyed a range of challenging activities which included: canoeing, abseiling, climbing, surfing and orienteering. We faced our fears abseiling down an 80 ft cliff and achieved new skills such standing on a surf board. Each group had some down time in Boscastle to enjoy shopping and an ice cream. All the girls thoroughly enjoyed the chance to work as a team and to help others whilst overcoming fears of their own.
