Greek in the Sixth Form
The study of Greek in the Sixth Form aims to develop and build upon the grammar and literature covered in the earlier years. There is usually one small group of girls who have taken GCSE and then proceed to AS and/or A2 Level. Authors are studied in greater depth and independent reading is encouraged. Lively discussions inevitably ensue in the lessons and students are able to develop their own interest in different areas and aspects of the syllabus.
Much emphasis is placed upon enjoyment of the subject and the girls continue to be rewarded with impressive AS & A2 results at the end of the course.
