Clubs and Activities
The department runs a weekly workshop for students who require individual help with some aspect of their courses.
Students are encouraged to participate in Politics Club which is held weekly and also in the Latte Club which meets half-termly. In addition, the department runs a ‘film club’ to show films which are recommended by the examination board as useful in helping understanding of social issues, for example ‘Brassed Off’ which shows the impact of pit closures on mining communities.
