LVI Trip to Graduate Fashion Week
LVI Textiles Technology students spent a thoroughly enjoyable day visiting Graduate Fashion Week at Earls Court, London. This was the first time they opened their doors to allow school groups to take part in a dedicated Education Day. This was a unique opportunity to meet approximately 48 of the very best BA degree course universities from around the country, who had been participating throughout the week. On this particular day they were promoting their various courses related to the fashion industry such as fashion design and illustration, textiles, marketing, journalism, media and promotion, product design and packaging etc. The students were able to see the work of some of the very best graduates in a Gala Show, talk to course leaders and pick up literature of the various courses and modules

The Clothes Show Live 2007 ( annual trip)
The GCSE pupils really enjoy the annual trip to The Clothes Show Live at the NEC in Birmingham. It provides them with a fantastic experience of catwalk shows, a chance to see designers work at close hand and also they are able to visit the University stands to find out about future careers and courses.
