Physical Education
At the Junior School all girls have a P.E. lesson every day of the week. The curriculum includes dance, gym, swimming, athletics and games (tennis, rounders, netball, hockey, football, cricket).
There is a wide variety of extra-curricular clubs on offer at lunch times and after school with P.E. specialists as well as specialists from outside the school. These include: hockey, netball, rounders, tennis, Brazilian football, judo, swimming, dance, gymnastics and aerobics.
We have a very good success rate in competitive matches against other schools in the area, in netball, hockey, rounders, tennis and swimming, which are played after school, throughout the year. 
This year for the first time the UII girls entered in the regional Cross Country Championships and all 10 finalists finished in the top 20, including 2nd and 3rd positions.
The girls also have the opportunity to perform dances, gymnastics sequences and aerobics displays for school productions, assemblies and open days.
