Design and Technology is the process of designing and making products for their intended use. It helps to develop an understanding of the ways in which products have been designed in the past and present to meet the needs of people.

Throughout the Junior School, our girls are given the opportunity to practise and develop their natural capabilities, create and achieve solutions to problems, in addition to acquiring a range of skills and gaining enjoyment from working safely with a wide range of tools, materials and components.
At each Key Stage the children will experience and acquire skills in food technology and textiles, build structures from a range of materials as well as creating mechanisms and controls.
