Careers
Girls have careers lessons in Year 9 together with regular videos on career options. Individual interviews with careers tutors take place in Years 10 & 11. All students take psychometric and aptitude tests in Year 11 as part of the programme leading to AS choices. A week of work experience is organised in Year 12 for every student.
We work with Cambridge Occupational Analysts to deliver career tests. All careers information follows the student through her school career from Year 9 to the Sixth Form, allowing the student and the school to watch and monitor the development of the individual’s ideas over time.
The School has a dedicated Careers Library to compliment the careers programme.
The school organises a bi-annial Careers Convention where representatives from many career fields are available to give advice and up to date information, and answer any questions pupils may have.
