The Debating Club has been very busy this term, taking part in three external competitions.
Three teams formed of Upper VI and Upper V girls took part in the Cambridge Union Schools’ Debating Competition in November and received some excellent feedback. On the same night, Mette Isaksen and Sanya Burgess took part in the ESU Mace competition and their fantastic performance sees them through to the next round. Such was the interest, this year we held an internal competition to select an entry for the Great Shakespeare Debate. The worthy winners posted their application on You Tube and we are delighted that they have been selected for the final in Stratford in March.
