Sixth Formers have the opportunity to take part in a range of academic and social trips organised by the school. These usually include a day trip to Bruges and an ice-skating and Christmas shopping trip to London. In addition, many girls in the Sixth Form will be involved in the annual overseas Music tour and curriculum-associated field trips and language exchanges.
The appointment of a specific Outdoor Education and Duke of Edinburgh's Award coordinator has enabled us to offer a special adventurous overseas expedition opportunity for Sixth Formers. In 2010 we will be heading off to Morocco where we will experience travel in a different culture, work with a community project and trek in the High Atlas Mountains, including an attempt on reaching the summit of Jebel du Toubkal (at 4200m, the highest peak in Northern Africa).
