Extra-curricular

Sixth Formers take lead roles in productions

Within the Sixth Form, extra-curricular activities are very much regarded as a key part of each student’s learning experience. As such there are a large number of different opportunities set up to enrich the girls’ knowledge of the world beyond school. One of our central aims is to link activities to particular career or university pathways, for example, medicine and politics club; however, we also want to encourage their independence and community focus with the highly successful volunteer and Duke of Edinburgh’s Award schemes. Young Enterprise remains a very popular choice and has definitely given some girls a clear head start when applying for Business-based degree courses.

Girls are free to choose how much they wish to involve themselves in and we are very conscious of the need to balance work and other commitments.

The full extra-curricular guide 'The Edge' can be downloaded below and this is organised by year group. This term's timetable can be found in the log-in area.
