Girls arrive to school in the morning either on foot (many from the train station), bicycle, car or on one of the many school coaches. Registration is at 8.40 am and this is followed by assembly (except for a Wednesday when the girls have a form room session on 'Skills for Life').
Morning lessons are usually in double periods and taught by specialists in their respective areas. There is a mid-morning break for girls to spend time with friends.
Lunch break is for one hour and 10 minutes and provides an opportunity to chat with friends and eat lunch in the Dining Room. Most girls will take part in a lunchtime club several days a week.
Most afternoon lessons are doubles and the timetable is varied.
School ends at 3.45 pm.
Girls can stay and do their homework in the library until 5.45 pm at no charge. There are also many after school fixtures and clubs.
