Rock Climbing
As the culmination of the rock climbing course this term a group of Upper V (Year 11) climbers went to Craggy Island in Guildford. Craggy Island is a state of the art public indoor climbing wall, much more extensive than the local wall we use for after school sessions.
The girls took on many challenges, from the overhanging bouldering cave to the heights of the main walls and got to grips with how the grade system works within climbing. This was a very enjoyable day and the girls who attended should be proud of their achievements.
Multi Activity Programme
The first Multi Activity Programme of the year has just come to an end. The group made up of 6 Upper IIIs (Year 7) and 6 Lower IIIs (Year 6) experienced many different activities including: problem solving, orienteering, kayaking, rock climbing and archery. Everyone put in 100% effort and had a great time. Programme 2 will be starting in the new year.
