In early July it was the Silver D of E expedition assessment with almost 80 girls taking part. After a very wet Practice Expedition in April the girls enjoyed a lovely, sunny three days in the North Wessex Downs for assessment.
There was some tricky navigation and painful blisters - but all rose to the challenge and had a great weekend showing their adventurous spirit! Well done to everyone who took part - all who participated passed their Silver D of E expedition - and the assessors were impressed with the girls' attitude - always striving to enjoy themselves no matter how tired they were!
To finally complete their expedition sections the girls who took part will give a presentation of their expedition experiences in September. With this difficult section complete the girls should make sure they get their other sections signed off so that their Silver Awards are complete.
