In Frau Bruton’s Year 9 German class girls wrote and acted out some sketches about feeling unwell and seeing a doctor. Frau Bruton videoed the lessons and took some entertaining photos. Some girls even performed an ‘operation’ using paper blood. The girls also learned that if you’re unlucky enough to find yourself involved in a medical emergency in Germany, the number to call is not ‘neun-neun-neun’ as you might think, but ‘eins-eins-zwei’ (1-1-2!)
