Reception and Key Stage 1
Having all competed wholeheartedly for their medals in the Fun Run prior to half term, the Reception and Key Stage 1 girls (Preparatory & Transition) kick-started the forthcoming run of Sports Days on 9th June participating in a multi-activity event. In House groups they rotated around twelve sports stations, run and led by the very competent and encouraging Year 5 girls. It was a very relaxed event where the parents were able to watch their daughters demonstrate their skills in everything from long jump and foam javelin throwing to sack racing and of course scoring goals in the 'World Cup'!
Lower Juniors
The Lower Junior Sports Day was a big success and a very close affair with Carrington just taking the lead. Girls ran, hurdled, obstacle, relayed and demonstrated their wonderful dribbling skills. The mums and dads all followed suit. Well done to everyone.
Upper Juniors
We were fortunate again with the weather on Wednesday 30 June when the Upper Junior girls had their Sports Day. It was a fantastic morning of fun and sport, with a great atmosphere of enjoyment and competition from everyone, including parents! A number of our sports day records were broken from previous years, in both the field and track events. Well done to everyone, especially the girls from Kensington who were the overall winners.
