On Friday 18th June, Year 4 girls visited Henley River and Rowing Museum where they took part in a variety of activities related to this term’s Geography work on rivers. During their ‘hands on’ workshop they worked in groups to carry out a number of experiments exploring river features such as the water cycle, erosion, transportation and deposition. This work was then enhanced by a guided river walk where the girls were able to identify many of the features discussed in the workshop and their geography lessons in school. Finally, the girls had the opportunity to explore many of the wonderful artefacts in the museum itself.
