Girls are welcomed into our Nursery in the September following their third birthday. Entry to our Pre- Nursery for girls whose third birthday takes place after August 31st is possible later in the year, providing there are vacancies.
From the moment the girls enter our bright cheerful Nursery, they understand that school is a positive place to be, where exciting things happen. The Nursery provides a warm and welcoming introduction to our school family, where the girls take their first steps on their path of learning. We aim to foster the girls’ curiosity about the world around them by making the most of both the indoor and outdoor environment, where creative challenges and opportunities ensure that girls are actively engaged in their learning from the outset.
The Nursery is led by an experienced Early Years Teacher who is supported by a team of highly qualified Early Years Practitioners. Pastoral Care is of paramount importance to us. Each girl has a Pastoral Carer, whose priority is your daughter’s learning journey, and her emotional health and well being. This is achieved by working in partnership with you as parents and we place great emphasis on effective school-home communication. We also encourage parents to come in and read to the children, help on off-site visits and with themed workshops.
