Farmyard Hullaballoo!

Oink, oink!

Pre-Nursery and Nursery girls delighted their parents, staff and fellow pupils on Friday when they performed 'Farmyard Hullaballoo!' at Assembly.

The girls performed as cows, chickens, sheep, pigs and horses, with Sneha taking on the role of the 'Dingle-Dangle Scarecrow' with great confidence.  The Angelfish group became pigs, reciting 'Pig Poem; the Dolphin group became horses, and sang 'Horsey, horsey' with great gusto; the Seahorse group became cows, reciting the cow poem from 'Farmyard Hullaballoo'; the Octopus group became sheep and sang 'The Sheep Song'; and the Starfish group became chickens, delighting the audience with their rendition of 'Chick, chick, chick, chick chicken'!

All the girls joined together to sing 'Dingle-Dangle Scarecrow' before ending their Assembly with a fantastic dance routine, choreographed by Miss Allard, to 'Cotton Eye Joe'.

Mrs Ryninks, Head of the Junior School, commented: "Pre-Nursery and Nursery presented a fabulous assembly which everyone enjoyed enormously.  Special thanks must go to all the Nursery staff for their hard work in getting the girls ready for the performance, and designing the wonderful costumes they wore. I'm sure the parents who attended will remember the performance with fondness for a very long time!'

Pre-Nursery and Nursery parents and their daughters can find more photos of the performance in the Login section.
