The Music Department is keen to acquire a school harp to give girls the opportunity to try out this wonderful instrument. It has launched a project to raise funds in a variety of imaginative ways including the ‘sale’ of pedals and strings. At the Senior School Autumn concert we made a magnificent start, with all the pedals and a number of strings already sold. The target is in the region of £8000, so, together with the proceeds of the retiring collection, we are already well on our way, with nearly £2000 raised. Gift aid will increase this total further.
This is your opportunity to own one of the strings that has not yet been sold! Strings cost £50. Of course, if you would be willing to donate more, then we would be delighted!
