Advice for the Junior School

Wise words from current parents about the Junior School

• Piano and Violin lessons are available in Trans.  If you want to secure them for your daughter, complete an application form and hand it in as soon as possible, the first term of Prep is NOT too early. Other instruments are available in KS2 and upper Juniors
• If you want to do Drama Club remember to sign up early as places fill up very quickly. At the start of term you will get a sheet with a list of all the free lunchtime and afterschool clubs the school runs, again get the form back quickly as it is first come first served
• Coloured house shirts are a part of school sports days and inter house competitions in the Junior School
• Volunteer - be a class rep, there is no better way of getting to know the school and the parents in your year group
• Make sure that when the forms for clubs come home that you return it almost immediately. Places are limited.
• I would recommend buying a big PE bag and not bothering with the smaller slipper bag & label everything
