Advice for Early Years
Some wise words collected from current parents that might help make your life easy
Coloured house shirts are not required for Early Years
For Nursery girls it’s always handy to have extra knickers and shorts or tracksuit bottoms in gym bag just in case of accidents
No blazers required for Early years (Nursery and Reception) & no blazers are required for first half of Autumn term for Prep even though your daughter will be in summer uniform.
There is a small café, Café Metro, located 3 mins walk away on Christchurch Rd just after Cintra Rd and before the University if you want to grab a coffee before picking up your daughter
For those girls planning parties early on in the academic year, a list of names can be obtained from the teachers, you can then hand them the invitations for distribution.
If you were thinking of doing ballet, please sign your daughter up ASAP as the classes will get fully booked. Most of Nursery take part
Nursery and Reception:
Ballet gear
not needed but advisable as every other little girl will be wearing it (Pink leotard, Pink skirt, Pink socks and Ballet slippers).
I would recommend buying a big PE bag and not bothering with the smaller slipper bag & label everything
