Welcome to New Parents
Starting at a new school can be as daunting for the parents as much as the children. We are here to help and support you through these early days building on what information you will have already had from the school.
Firstly we run the second hand uniform shop. This is located next door to the Senior School on Kendrick Road. We can provide advice on the type of uniform you need to buy and in what quantities.
In the first term we organise a quiz night or other similar event. This evening provides you with an opportunity to meet mums and dads who are already at the school as well as meet new parents like yourself. You can find more details under the forthcoming events. We hope you can make it.
One of the main tasks of the Parents' Association is to organise events for both parents and children throughout the year. We try to have a mixture of fund raising and non fund raising events as we feel that we are here to help develop, with the school, a strong parent community.
If you are as passionate about supporting your daughter’s school then why don’t you get more involved by joining the committee? If you want to become more involved we are always looking for support. This could be as a formal committee member or supporting one of the sub committees who organise events. Either way we can guarantee it will be fun.
Becoming an active member of the Parents' Association will give you the opportunity to make new friends (particularly if you are new to the area) and learn more about the workings of the school.
