The Abbey School Parents’ Association held a charity Spring Ball in the splendid Windsor Ballroom at the Hilton Hotel. Over 300 parents enjoyed a wonderful evening of socialising, food and dancing and also raised money for two very deserving causes. Over £6,000 has been raised so far which will be split between The Abbey School Bursary Fund (which helps able girls receive an Abbey education whose parents could not otherwise afford the fees) and ‘Starlight’ which helps fulfil the wishes of terminally-ill children.
Sixth Formers from the school acted as hostesses for the evening with other girls involved in a string quartet and donating pieces of Art for the silent auction.
